Reconstruction of the bridge P-06105 and its approaches over the Jacques-Cartier River on Route 138 in the municipalities of Cap-Santé and Donnacona

Main Work Performed

• Complete demolition of the slab, pillar 3 as well as the headers and columns of pillars 2 and 4 of the existing bridge
• Excavation and filling for each foundation units
• Installation of temporary support
• Construction of a river stone jetty and temporary bridges to access pillars
• Manufacture and installation of three different cofferdam types (steel casing, steel sheet piling, clay core jetty)
• Drilling and installation of rock anchors
• Installation of driven piles
• Complete reconstruction of the pillar 3
• Repair of the pillars and abutments
• Supply and installation of the new structure made of 35 new steel beams
• Formwork, reinforcing steel and concreting of the new concrete slab bridge
• Supply, installation and concreting of expansion joints
• Supply and installation of new steel railings
