Regrading of the airside movement area and repair of a section of the airport access road. The work is located within the airport facilities of the Northern Village of Akulivik.

Main work carried out

• Regrading of the airside movement area (runway, taxiway, and apron) and modification of cross-sectional profiles;
• Raising airfield lighting systems and pull boxes where required, and completing the electrical connection of two runway guidance signs;
• Completion of final grading works for the access road to the Wind Direction Indicator (WDI);
• Stockpiling of granular materials at the airport site;
• Removal of non-compliant granular materials, where required, followed by the rehabilitation and resurfacing of a section of the airport access road.
