Construction of Bridge P-18005 on the Route 138 extension, between Kegaska and La Romaine, crossing the Washicoutai River.

Main work carried out

• Construction of cofferdams;
• Temporary marine link established by barge between the two (2) riverbanks;
• Formwork and cast-in-place concrete placement for the bridge abutments;
• On-site concrete production;
• Construction of four (4) retaining walls connected to the abutments;
• Pre-assembly and marine transportation of the bridge steel structure;
• Erection of the steel bridge structure on the abutments (single span of 81 m);
• Formwork, concrete placement, and finishing of the cast-in-place deck slab on girders;
• Supply and installation of bridge guardrails on the deck;
• Transportation logistics and material supply management for a remote site without road access.
