Assistant to payable accounts

Under the responsibility of the accounts payable supervisor, you will participate in the process of verifying, correcting and paying the invoices of the company's suppliers.

Main functions
  • Record invoices in the systems after their verification;
  • Check, codify and modify the allocation of receipts and invoices as needed;
  • Ensure the validity of GST and QST numbers;
  • Check the validity of the Revenu Québec Attestation according to the type of invoice;
  • Liaise with the purchasing department as needed;
  • Fournir le support nécessaire à l'entrée des bons de réception;
  • Provide the required support during period closings;
  • Perform filing and record keeping tasks;
  • Perform other related duties.
Requirements and abilities
  • Have a DEP or a DEC in accounting, or relevant experience related to the position;
  • At least, have one year or more of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to evolve in a changing field and the ability to tolerate stress;
  • Good judgment, thoroughness and attention to detail;
  • 58/5000 Good ability to work with computer tools.
